Washington National Opera announces Dance Auditions for its
2024-2025 production of Macbeth

Performances at the Kennedy Center Opera House
3 Female Corps Dancers and 1 Male Corps Dancer needed
Dancers should have experience in modern and collaborative creation. They should be dynamic, storytellers. Dancers with experience, background or training in stage combat or fighting techniques are encouraged to audition as combat will be incorporated into the choreography.
Please bring ballet slippers or jazz shoes and wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that is appropriate for movement.
Rehearsals begin on or about October 17, 2024.
Technical rehearsals begin November 6, 2024.
Performance dates are November 13, 15, 17m, 19, 21, 23, 2024.
Rehearsals will take place at the Washington National Opera Studio in Takoma.

Dancers should report to the Washington National Opera Studio, 6925 Willow St. NW, Washington, DC 20012.
To reach the Washington National Opera Studio, go to the 3rd floor of the building; directions will be posted.
Dancers must arrive by the appropriate Registration time listed above, i.e. at least one hour prior to the scheduled Audition time, in order to complete the application process.*
