Role Description:
Looking for actors/actresses (of all gender identities) to fill the above-mentioned speaking roles in our upcoming production of Carousel. These roles will be required to dance in addition to their spoken lines. Performers with special talents such as juggling, tumbling, contortion or other ground act circus disciplines are encouraged to audition. Must be local to the Boston area. Should have professional or semi-professional dance experience in addition to ability to memorize dialogue and confidently speak onstage.
Important dates:
-Rehearsals between March 10th – April 2nd, 2025 (specific schedule to come with offer)
-Performances on April 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th 2025
Compensation:
-This position is under an American Guild of Musical Artists Union contract, and rates adhere to the collective bargaining agreement between BLO and AGMA.
