  AGMA will host two public sessions of “An Intro to AGMA,” the Union’s live new-member orientation and informational webinar. Those interested are welcome to join the webinar at 10:00 a.m. ET or 9:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 27. Register for the 10:00 a.m. ET session or Register for the 9:00 p.m. ET session   Both webinars will cover the same content, allowing participants to choose the best time for their schedule. AGMA Ratifies Three-Year Agreement with San Diego Opera

  The new collective bargaining agreement between AGMA and San Diego was approved by AGMA leadership on May 20, 2024, after being ratified by the shop. As we enter Pride Month, I am reminded of the strength and diversity that makes AGMA resilient and special. We are a union that strives to recognize every member's unique identity and experiences and champions the rights of our LGBTQIA+ members. This month, we honor their contributions to the performing arts and acknowledge the ongoing, unfair struggles they face just by existing. AGMA Announces Unanimous Union Victory for Dancers of Dallas Black Dance Theatre

The American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) is pleased to announce that the dancers of Dallas Black Dance Theatre (DBDT) have won their union! Just under one month since coming forward with their campaign, the dancers have prevailed in a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) election. Given the unanimous results, DBDT management will recognize AGMA as the exclusive bargaining representative of the dancers. Interim National Executive Director Allison Beck praised the dancers' win, stating, "This victory is a testament to the dancers' determination and unity. We are proud to welcome them into the Union."
