In observance of the upcoming holidays, the AGMA National Office will close at 3:00 p.m. ET on Friday, December 22, and reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Deadline Approaching: 2024 Basic Annual Dues

To remain an AGMA member in good standing and avoid future reinstatement fees, members should submit their dues by December 31, 2023. Invoices were sent on or around November 17. Members must remain in good standing to participate at all levels of the Union. This means staying up to date on all payments and installment plans. To engage in negotiations, vote on contracts, attend caucus or committee meetings, receive important emails, access MyAGMA, and vote, nominate, or run as a candidate in union elections, it is essential that members remain in good standing. Dancers of Ballet Austin Take Steps to Unionize

Artists continue to organize in 2023, as the Dancers of Ballet Austin have signed cards to form a union and join the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA). Griff Braun, AGMA’s National Organizing Director, expressed his excitement about the development, stating, "This is a significant step forward for the Dancers of Ballet Austin as they unite to strengthen their collective voice, for themselves and for the Artists that will follow them." Ballet Austin was founded in 1956 and is among the country's 15 largest classical ballet companies.
